A New Pack Quest Shadowlands Explained
In the quest, the Gorger would like to follow you, but it is weary as it is afraid of the world eaters. By defeating one together, the player will be able to obtain the gorger as a mount and companion. The quest description states it as so.
"The gorger is more than fully grown, rivaling most of the other devourers in the area. It clearly wants to stay with you, but it appears to be uneasy straying too far from the Worldeaters. Maybe if you take one down together it will not hold as much sway over the gorger."
Upon completing the quest, the player will also receive 4,100 experience as of completion. You will know you have completed the quest when the Unbidden Worldeater is defeated and the quest states the following message.
"The gorger is ecstatic that you took down a Worldeater. Its excitement is palpable and it is on the brink of picking you up and carrying out off on a new adventure."
After that you will have completed the quest and obtained a new mount along the way!
