There are plenty of ways players can sneak slight improvements into their game. Here are two advanced tricks to sneak you into another win.
The first is called bunny hopping, and it lets players heal without losing too much momentum. To execute this technique, first start sprinting. Start a slide, then jump at peak momentum. While in the air, start the heal and release forward. Continue to spam the jump button while strafing side to side, turning to make the strafe proceed the direction you want to go.
If executed correctly, you'll keep your momentum long enough to move nearly at top speed even while you heal.
For an advanced technique with the Peacekeeper shotgun, try double pumping. This trick massively increases the weapon's firing speed. To do it, begin the reload animation as soon as you fire your shot, then swap to another weapon, and swap back. This will cancel the pumping animation, letting you fire a second shot almost immediately.
Mastering these two advanced moves will give you a leg up on the Apex Legends competition.
