How to Get the Ingot

Hoettstrand only has one Treasure in AC Valhalla—a single ingot located on the side of a rocky outcropping.

There are quite a few rewards to be had by exploring the different regions in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. In addition to challenges such as legendary animals and world events, players can find hidden treasures squirreled away in several secret locations. Hoettstrand is one such place, located in the Rygjafylke territory, which holds a single treasure for Eivor to claim.

Hoettstrand Treasure AC Valhalla

Hoettstrand has a hidden ingot located on a rocky, icy outcrop. Players will need to board their longboat and scale the rock wall they find jutting out of the ocean, directly east of Avaldsnes. They'll know they're in the right place when they notice a bare-bones wooden dock waiting for them.

The path to the top is fairly simple. Eivor will need to jump, climb, and maneuver their way upward until they find a ladder. Veteran players should know what to do at this point—shoot it open with their bow. From there, they can use Odin's Sight to pick the the rest of the way.

Ingots can be used to upgrade Eivor's weapons and armor. This often unlocks further upgrades, more rune slots, and could give the piece of gear a more complicated, detailed appearance.
