There are plenty of items that you can't carry in your inventory at once when exploring the different regions of Valheim. Rather than sacrificing some items for others based on region, or getting rid of resources that you can't fit in your inventory, you can increase your inventory's space and weight able to be carried.

How to Increase Your Inventory Space and Carry Weight in Valheim
There is a mod that can increase your inventory space, but if you want to increase your Valheim carrying space authentically, you have two methods, neither truly increase your inventory size but allow you to carry additional items.
The first is buying the Megingjord, which can be found trading with Haldor the merchant. The Megingjord costs 950 gold coins, but it increases your carrying weight from 300-450.
The second authentic way to carry more in Valheim is by using a cart, which provides you 18 additional inventory slots without a weight limit. The cart can be damaged and a little tough to control on some terrains, but the extra inventory space can come in handy for grabbing additional materials, especially if combined with the Megingjord.
