How to Play Valorant on Mac
Before you get your hopes up, you should know the Mac has to be fairly updated or recent. Here is a list of minimum systems that can handle Boot Camp.
- MacBook 2015 or later
- MacBook Air/Pro 2012 or later
- Mac mini 2012 or later
- iMac 2012 or later
- iMac Pro (all models)
- Mac Pro 2013 or later
As with any computer program, you'll need to make sure you have the appropriate space. 64-but Windows 10 requires 20 GB and Valorant is around 6.9 GB. You'll also need a 16 GB memory stick.
When downloading Boot Camp on all Mac devices, it will give you specific prompts. Click “Choose” on the right side of the “ISO Image” option. Head to the ISO file you downloaded in the prep stage. Boot Camp will copy your file onto your USB stick. Then click “Continue."
Boot Camp will automatically download Windows 10 to your memory stick which should be plugged in. To make room for Windows on your MAC, separate the system's hard drive into partitions. After you do that, Boot Camp will restart your computer.
Follow the prompts and you'll install Windows on your Mac. Restart your computer and you can choose which operating systems you want to start. Choose Windows 10, and head to Valorant to download your closed beta. That is, if you have a key.
