Is Tunic Coming to PS4 & PS5? Answered

Tunic has just released on PC and Xbox consoles to critical acclaim, being praised for its ingenious use of the in-game instruction manual, an abundance of secrets, challenging gameplay and its chill soundtrack. As such, it’s got some PlayStation owners wondering whether Tunic is coming to PS4 or PS5 consoles.

Tunic on PS4 & PS5 Explained

At the time of writing, there has been no announcement on Tunic coming to the PS4 or PS5. The game is only available on Xbox consoles and PC, and was part of the [email protected] indie scheme, suggesting that the game will remain exclusive to Microsoft platforms for at lease the short-term future.

Given Tunic was developed by just one person, Andrew Shouldice, chances are that trying to develop the game for multiple console platforms would have been too much work and pushed back the release date of the game for even longer.

This does mean that all hope isn’t lost just yet, especially given the critical acclaim of the game. But don’t expect Tunic on PS4 or PS5 anytime in the next few months. If anything it’ll be about a year or so from now, if we were to hazard a guess.

Should anything change, we’ll be sure to update this post and let you know.
