When does Outer Wilds come to Nintendo Switch?
Officially confirmed at Wednesday's Nintendo Direct, the Outer Wilds is coming to the Nintendo Switch and will be available soon. While the game has been playable on Xbox One, PS4, and PC since 2019, the fanbase had nothing but positive recommendations for the game for anyone remotely interested.
The Outer Wilds is a first-person RPG featuring the playable character as the newest member of Outer Wilds Ventures, "a fledgling space program searching for answers in a strange, constantly changing solar system." The in-game universe is stuck in a time loop, with the Sun exploding every 22 minutes - destroying the solar system. Player will have to solve mysteries on land and in space to stop this cataclysmic event.

Without spoiling too much about the game, players will be able to visit places like the ruins of the moon, explore the "Dark Bramble," and constantly changing environments on several planets where weather events are out of control. Players will also be able to see natural disasters destroy various locations and travel fly in their spacecraft.
