Resident Evil 8—also known as Resident Evil: Village—will have VR. The real question is: what kind?
Capcom confirmed Resident Evil: Village will support VR after a leak exposed via Resident Evil "Ambassador" beta players and gameplay footage concerning the framerate of the game. However, the caveat came when fans discovered that the VR version of Village will only happen "when Sony is ready." Could this mean there will be an extra period to wait before we get to virtually step into the shoes of Ethan Winters?

Will Resident Evil 8 Have VR?
Yes, Resident Evil 8 will support VR. However, players should note that its compatibility with each various headset will differ depending on their personal setup and the software available once it releases on May 7.
There hasn't been any official word from Capcom on exactly which headsets will be compatible and whether or not next-generation PlayStation players will need to spend more cash for the full experience. We will likely get more information as we approach its release date—including whether the VR experience will be exclusive to PlayStation players, alone.
Resident Evil: Village will be available for Windows PCs, the PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Series S, and Series X.
