WoW Shadowlands World Boss Schedule, Explained
World bosses in WoW are Raid Boss-level monsters that appear in the shared game world and drop high-level loot. They have long been a staple of the game, so unsurprisingly, the Shadowlands expansion introduced a number of World Bosses into the world.
Four bosses are on rotation for Shadowlands, with a new one swapping in every week. Each can be found in their own separate areas, all in new zones introduced in Season 1.
There is Oranomonos the Everbranching, who can be found in Ardenweald and happens to be the current World Boss.
Nurgash Muckformed, who can be found in Revendreth.
Valinor, the Light of Eons, who can be found in Bastion.
Mortanis, who can be found in Maldraxxus.
The rotation for the World Boss will look something like this for the remainder of the season,
January 12: Oranomonos
January 19: Nurgash
January 26: Valinor
February 2: Mortanis
February 9: Oranomonos
February 16: Nurgash
February 23: Valinor
March 2: Mortanis
March 9: Oranomonos
March 16: Nurgash
March 23: Valinor
March 30: Mortanis
Each of the bosses all have their different strengths and weaknesses, so be sure to study tactics and come up with a strategy before you try and slay them.
