4PM Weather Forecast - 2/13/2024
Our wet weather last week is gone from the picture, but how long will the dry weather stick around?
PHOENIX - Temperatures will continue to climb during the week ahead.
Tuesday afternoon the temperature will push above 70 degrees in the Valley with a forecast high of 72. Expect plenty of sunshine and light winds.
In northern Arizona, temperatures warming well above freezing will bring gradual snow melt to spots that picked up plenty of snow just last week. Flagstaff is forecast to reach the middle 40s on Tuesday and Wednesday with the low 50s possible by the end of the week.
Over in the Valley, highs will reach the low 70s again on Wednesday and the middle 70s from Thursday through Sunday.
In addition to warmer temperatures, the sky will remain clear to mostly clear and winds stay light. This makes for perfect mid-February weather! Outdoor plans should be delightful with cool mornings and mild afternoons.
Those making Valentine's plans should expect outdoor dining to be an option, from Wednesday through the weekend.
By the following week, Monday-Wednesday (19th to 21st of February), the pattern may flip again and bring better chances for rain or snow to the state.
It's too early to be certain the moisture will reach Arizona, but long-range modeling suggests it's possible.
