Stone of Remembrance in Genshin Impact is a quest item that players must collect to unlock the Nine Pillars of Peace.
Opening the Nine Pillars of Peace within the Cuijue Slope in Liyue is one of the longest yet most rewarding quests miHoYo has to offer. Like any good open-world fantasy game, Genshin Impact is filled with lore for its players to uncover through quests and subtexts. Gathering these Stones and unlocking each pillar is the key to gold, items, and greater knowledge of the story.

Stone of Remembrance Genshin Impact
As mentioned above, the Stones of Remembrance are used to open the Nine Pillars of Peace in Liyue. The game describes them as "an unusual gemstone capable of removing a seal somewhere. You can feel the turbulent thoughts racing relentless within when you hold it in your hand. Somewhere in this world are buried the memories of an ancient war."
"'For a future without the pain of savage slaughter, for a future without lives lived in vain, for a future where every day is filled with peace...'," it states.
Players can collect these stones by making offerings to the Statues of the Seven. Supposedly, these statues were carved to represent the Seven entities that sustain the world of Teyvat. Offerings can be either Anemoculus or Geoculus oculi found all around the map. Players must collect all Stones for each of the pillars to unlock them.
