Mario Golf Super Rush features Special Shots and Special Dashes, which lets players hit a ball with a specific style. Special Shots alter the ball's animation during a shot, as well as its landing on the ground. Special Dashes are utilized for kicking other player's shots out of the main trajectory.
Boo, for example, uses a Mischief Twister as a Special Shot, which haunts balls and curves their path in the air. Daisy utilizes a Blossom Strike as a Special Shot, which blasts a ball when hitting it.
Mario utilizes a Moonsault Dash which lets him jump and slide, while Luigi uses a Speed-Skate Dash, which lets him ice skate across the course.
