With Fortnite having an annual Winterfest, many Warzone players are beginning to wonder if Activision has something similar in store for the Christmas season.
We don't know for sure if Activision has anything planned up their sleeves for the holiday season in Warzone. Following the Haunting of Verdansk, a Halloween-themed event in Warzone, some fans are wondering if seasonal trends in Warzone are becoming a mainstay.
Warzone Christmas Event: Will There be One?
A Christmas event is exactly what Warzone players need after learning that a new map is not on the way until 2021. It will bring some flare and life into the game, similar to the Haunting of Verdansk. The Halloween-themed event was greatly received by the Warzone community and viewership across streaming platforms.
Similarly to Fortnite, adding frequent updates and changes is what allows a battle royale game to flourish and remain popular. It would be a very long stretch of similar content if Warzone were to sit idle throughout the holiday season and not join in on the festivities.
Time will tell if Activision jumps in with some Christmas spirit or if they act like Scrooge and spoil the fun.
